LOCAL & SEASONAL DINING
ONE OF CORNWALL'S HIDDEN TREASURES
SEASIDE WEDDING VENUE
Fowey is… tucked away on the picturesque south coast of Cornwall, which enjoys milder weather than most of the UK. The River Fowey is one of the deepest rivers in the world and is often visited by large cruise ships, including The World, together with other large sailing vessels.
There are a number of festivals held in and around Fowey during the year, including the Fowey Regatta and the Daphne Du Maurier Festival; a key Arts and Literature festival held to celebrate this wonderful local author. Fowey is well-known for its maritime activities, location, including sailing and sea kayaking.
Slightly further afield in Cornwall, there’s plenty to discover and you are never far from a beach, a boat-ride to hidden coves, or an easy drive to any number of harbourside villages. And for those keen gardeners, there are plenty of stunning gardens to visit, including the famous Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.
